Important Update for Consignors

Starting November 1st, we’ll begin phasing out large clothing appointment drop-offs.

Effective January 1st, 2026, we will no longer schedule “1 Clothing Tote” appointments.

Instead, clothing drop-offs can be made as “Best 20” walk-ins. This change will begin as a trial, and we may adjust the Best 20 process as we learn what works best for everyone. We did not make this decision lightly. I’ve held off for quite some time, always considering what works best for our consignors.

--- Why We’re Making This Change

1. Variety and Selection When large totes come in, we often receive many duplicates—like 17 pairs of size 2T leggings in one drop! The next appointment might bring another dozen. This limits variety and can make it harder for shoppers to find what they’re looking for. Allowing smaller, more frequent drop-offs helps “sprinkle” each family’s unique style throughout the year instead of all at once. 

2. Timely Pricing and Tagging Our goal is to price items and get them on the floor the same day! This will result in a faster turn-around and faster payouts!

3. Optimizing Space  When we’re not storing totes of clothing waiting to be tagged, that space can be used to open the floor—adding new displays or simply wider aisles for an easier shopping experience.

Our clothing racks are limited and often filled to capacity. Overcrowded racks make it hard for shoppers to browse, and that means fewer sales. Smaller drop-offs help keep the floor fresh and inviting!

 --- As a mom of three, I completely understand how satisfying it is to clear out a big tote of clothes (and earn extra cash!). But as a small business owner, I need to make decisions that keep our store running smoothly and help us better serve you and our community. 

--- What to Expect

  • Fewer large clothing appointments will be available as we phase them out through      the end of the year.
  • After January 1st, 2026, large clothing appointments will no longer be available.
  • You can still drop off your Best 20 items anytime up to one hour before close.
  • Best 20 is first come, first served, but you can now reserve a spot for priority service.
  • You can continue booking appointments for Unlimited Maternity and Unlimited      Non-Clothing items.

This new system is a trial, and we’ll adjust as needed based on what’s working best for everyone. If you have any comments, questions, or suggestions, I’d truly love to hear them. Thank you for your continued support — and for helping make this shop what it is today!
